Start your Perge Aspendos Side tour with a hotel pickup in the morning, allowing you to begin your historical exploration in comfort. This full-day experience takes you through the heart of ancient Pamphylia, offering an immersive encounter with three of Türkiye’s most significant archaeological sites: Perge, Aspendos, and Side. With expert commentary, scenic locations, and a riverside lunch, it’s the perfect blend of education and leisure.
Our first stop is Perge, a once-prosperous Roman city famed for its architectural grandeur. The ancient capital of Pamphylia still preserves its Roman Baths, the Nymphaeum, a wide Colonnaded Street, and a vast Stadium once hosting gladiator games. As you stroll through its well-preserved streets, imagine the bustling Roman life that once thrived here. Every corner reveals history layered in stone.
From Perge, we head to Aspendos, home to one of the best-preserved Roman theaters in the world. Built in the 2nd century AD, the theater seats up to 15,000 people and is renowned for its extraordinary acoustics. Many modern concerts and cultural events still take place here, proving the brilliance of Roman engineering. This visit offers not only architectural wonder but a sense of timeless performance art.
After a delicious riverside lunch, we continue to Side, an ancient port city with striking ruins set against the Mediterranean Sea. Explore the Temple of Apollo, Roman Baths, and a dramatic Grand Theater that once echoed with political speeches and performances. You’ll also enjoy free time to wander at your own pace and soak in seaside views or shop for local handicrafts.
As the day winds down, we make a final stop at a picturesque local waterfall. This natural retreat provides a relaxing atmosphere and perfect photo opportunities before we return to Antalya, leaving you with lasting memories of ancient wonders and scenic beauty.
